Two off the list
As a way to incorporate variety and spice into my life, I created a "life's to-do list" which I posted on my former blog. I won't repost it, but needless to say, I checked one item off last Monday - running the Golden Gate Bridge back and forth. I thought it was a short bridge (1.7 mi across), but man, it was quite long =P. I haven't run a long time so it was good exercise to finish the whole 3.4 mi. I used to run the UCLA perimeter (3.7 mi chockful of hills), but those were during my active days. I'm just trying to keep my body as young as possible by assimilating various activities as hobbies - running being the neglected one.
I added spice to the day towards the end. I stood on the ledge and started jumping up and down while my friend took photos. Then he joined me. We timed the camera and amidst gawking older spectators, we flew, karate-chopped, and "jumped" the bridge. People thought we were suicidal because my friend actually fell off the ledge. Good thing he's a wall climber.

The above picture could now be crossed off my to-do list as well.
Next thing to tackle on the list: Learn American History.
