logging from Penang
I'm in Penang Malaysia; the week is almost over. On Saturday I'll fly to Singapore, go clubbing for the rest of the night there, then fly to Japan on Sunday morning and then head back to SF.
The past 2 weeks went by like a blur. In Hong Kong we taught and talked from 8am-6pm, had group activities til 9pm and then we partied until 4am. Pics here. Each morning we waged wars against the beeping maching. I'm happy to say that I actually woke up everyday!
In Hong Kong, I shopped for clothes and bought a real Tag Heuer watch upon my bosses' insistence to get my first bling bling. Well, okay I like it a lot too. :)
Then on Friday, I left Hong Kong to visit the Philippines, traveled 400 km in 2 days, met my 90 year old grandpa who's sick, met my high school classmates (to stock up on gossip and stupidity), met my dad for Father's day, and met my aunt to drop off stuff.
On Sunday, I flew to Singapore to meet my high school classmates - we went to watch a play about migrant workers which became our dinner discussion topic. We post-analyzed while eating rice and duck.
Monday morning I flew to Penang for work and that afternoon I went straight to work to give a presentation. The rest of the week, I've been meeting my project team here, but you know, compared to the other places I've been to the past weeks my work pace is much slower here. I actually get leisure time and moments to reflect on my life as I look at the fabulous view of Penang from my balcony.

I realized that a lot of small things "lined up" for me and my career. I keep on thanking God for it; I can't help but keep asking What now? There are so many possibilities, but I figured I'd just keep plugging in my best, keep raising the bar and then just revel as His plans unfold.
